Check out what we've been working on

Here are some of the projects we are currently working on, along with some of our past projects.

We hope to add to this list and show you guys that, you too, can build cool cars without needing expensive equipment or an unlimited budget.

1994 Chevy C1500

My 1994 Chevy C1500 is the heart of OverBudget Garage and the project that started it all. It’s been completely transformed with full air suspension, a one-off custom interior, 22-inch U.S. Mag wheels, and a unique vinyl wrap that sets it apart from the rest. This truck isn’t just a build, it’s my passion project and the reason I started my YouTube channel. Every bolt, weld, and late-night garage session has been part of the journey that fuels my love for custom trucks and the OverBudget lifestyle.

1979 Chevrolet Camaro

My father's 1979 Camaro is more than just a car—it’s a family legacy brought back to life. It was the same Camaro he drove in high school nearly 40 years ago, and together we’ve rebuilt it into the version he always dreamed of owning. Powered by a 383 stroker with Holley Sniper fuel injection, sitting on 18-inch wheels, and featuring a fully restored interior, this car represents everything we’ve learned over the years. It’s by far the highest-quality project we’ve ever completed—and a true tribute to our passion for building cool cars.

1988 Chevy S10

My 1988 Chevy S10 started life as a simple daily driver but quickly turned into a full-blown drag truck. It’s powered by a 6.0L LQ4 LS engine paired with a TH350 transmission and boosted by a 78mm turbo. Instead of sticking with traditional fuel injection, I went old-school with a blow-through carb setup that helped push the truck to over 900 horsepower. With a full cage, complete Competition Engineering suspension, and countless late nights in a small garage with good friends, this build represents pure ingenuity, grit, and the kind of memories that make every busted knuckle worth it.

1982 Chevy C10

My 1982 Chevy C10 will always be "the one that got away". It was the truck that pulled me into the world of bagged trucks. With full air suspension, 20-inch wheels, and a completely restored interior, it had the perfect balance of classic style and modern attitude. Cruising this truck was pure joy—windows down, just an old school vibe—and it’s the one build I’ll always wish I still had. One day, I hope to own another C10 and bring that feeling back.

2004 Chevy Silverado

My 2004 Chevy Silverado was my lifted truck build and one of the more fun projects I’ve ever owned. It featured a massive 12-inch FTS lift kit, 24-inch wheels, and 37-inch tires—plus a custom vinyl wrap that made it stand out everywhere it went. This truck turned heads everywhere, and while it rode a bit like an old Jeep, it taught me a ton about the lifted truck world. It was a wild ride in every sense and a reminder that every build, no matter how extreme, has something new to teach you.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am

My 2000 Pontiac Grand Am was my very first custom build—nearly 15 years ago—and it’s the one that started it all. Fresh off the excitement of the original Fast & Furious movie, I took my daily driver and went completely overboard: full air ride, Lambo-style doors, 18-inch wheels, exhaust, and six 12-inch subwoofers built into a custom wall where the back seat used to be. Add in more TVs and neon lights than your local dive bar, and it was the ultimate early-2000s show car. It might not have been perfect, but it sparked my passion for custom cars and laid the foundation for everything OverBudget Garage has become.
